Precious Gems international took part at the just concluded 2019 International festival of Public health, hosted by the University of Manchester. We had our stand and we also presented a paper through our Director of research, Dr Nosa Akpede, on  the Assessment of Socio economic status of Rural women in Nigeria: Implecation for community based interventions for poverty alleviation and women empowerment. We hope to develop further collaborative  interventions in Nigeria as a results of the findings of this research.
