Precious Gems has embarked on a massive campaign in Edo state Nigeria, to raise the awareness of Lassa Fever and its prevention. We are passionate about prevention of Lassa fever because of its high mortality rate especially pregnant women and their unborn babies. Our team is working with other health partners to construct and distribute Veronica buckets, a simple but effective tool to encourage hand washing in schools, markets and other public areas in Edo state Nigeria. A big thanks to Dr Nosa Akpede and her team for their tireless effort to reach out to the various communities.
